OUR PASTOR
Pastor Michael Flanary and his wife Anita have been serving at the Church since April 2016. Pastor Flanary has been Faithfully Preaching the Word of God, Evangelizing, Pastoring and doing Missions for the past 47 years with his wife Anita standing by him for over 43 of those years. They have 5 grown children and 12 grandchildren.
OUR CHURCH
We are a Full Gospel Pentecostal Church committed to reaching our area, and the world with the Gospel of Christ. Rom. 1: 16a; (For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the Power of God unto salvation to them that believe). And to making disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mat. 28: 19 & 20; (Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen).
The Upper Room Church had it's beginnings in an upper room of a two story building in downtown Clarksburg, West Virginia going on 51 years ago. It has been housed in 3 buildings since it's beginnings, and has had 3 previous pastors. It moved from it's location in downtown Clarksburg to Liberty Addition where a new building was constructed, and from there to the present location in Adamston Addition of Clarksburg.
